The GT has not been crash tested by Euro NCAP, but you do get six airbags and all the expected safety features including traction control and a fire prevention system. An alarm and immobiliser, plus deadlocks should help to keep it secure.

Unlike Alfa’s earlier coupé, the GTV, the GT has a decent boot and is a far more practical proposition. And while it might look like only a small saloon car boot aperture, in reality the whole rear opens up as a hatchback. Split folding rear seats give even greater luggage space.
