What we like

The A6 E-Tron is just about the best executed electric Audis to date. It’s quiet, refined, fast and surprisingly fun to drive. Range is excellent, and you can charge it quickly on long trips. The styling is slick, and the cabin feels suitably premium.

What we don’t like

Rear seat space is a letdown, and some of the interior plastics feel cheaper than you’d expect. The reliance on touch-sensitive controls also makes some tasks harder than they need to be. And the best versions we tested – with air suspension – are denied to the UK. For now.
