BMW Z4 Coupe rivals
The addition of a coupe to the Z4 line-up broadened the appeal of the already popular model. BMW describes it as a ‘pocket GT’ and the Z4 has been designed to feel ‘shrink-wrapped’ around its occupants to create a high-performance and long-distance car. It’s not a complete success – while it’s good to drive the ride is overly firm and the cabin can start to feel cramped over longer distances.
But it is good looking and fairly practical too with a decent-sized boot and good standard levels of equipment. However it’s not cheap and there are some strong alternatives to choose from including the Porsche Cayman and Audi TT.
