Citroën e-C3 verdict
2024 onwards
(change model)

What we like
The Citroen e-C3 a very straightforward take on the electric small car formula, and that simplicity translates into an honest, easy-to-drive and affordable car. The interior is very spacious for the car’s size, it’s nippy enough, and the comfort levels are class leading.
What we don’t like
The real-world battery range of 170 miles isn’t going to win it many brownie points against its rivals, and neither will the odd feature list. Crash safety is still a worrying unknown, we’d miss keyless go, and the boot is awkwardly shaped. It’s also worth mentioning the lack of style and zest next to rivals like the Renault 5 and Hyundai Inster.
