Even though there is no turbo, the hand-built V-TEC variable-valve timing engine in the Type-R sounds fantastic at high revs and is extremely powerful. The combination of deficient soundproofing within the cabin and the high performance engine guarantees a thrilling experience every time you ignite the Type-R’s fiery engine. Unsuitable for low speed inner city driving, due to its low torque and need for high revs, the invigorating Integra Type-R is more than competent on open roads at high speeds and provides a distinctive ride that you won’t forget in a hurry.

The Type-R handles excellently around corners as the firm suspension ensures that there is little body roll and maximum traction. The effortless movement through the gears indicates a thoughtfully designed gearbox and it rarely has those awkward crunches that can spoil the drive. The responsive front-wheel drive Type-R boasts incredible steering and pedal feedback, giving you a real feel of the car’s capabilities.
