In the event of a roll, twin roll hoops pop up from behind the rear headrests. There’re four airbags and an electronic stability program with brake assist. Euro NCAP rate it as a four-star car having put it through one of their crash tests. An alarm and immobiliser provide the security.
With the roof up, the saloon-like boot is impressively big – bigger than that in the 307 hatchback. However, lowering the roof eats into the available space by a significant margin.
