Volkswagen Scirocco R boot space, practicality and safety
2010 - 2018
(change model)
For a coupe the Scirocco R is quite practical. The high boot lip can make lifting larger or heavier items awkward, but the boot itself offers 312 litres of luggage space, which increases to 1,006 litres when you fold the rear seats down.
The two adult-sized seats in the rear make this coupe a practical car when out with friends or family.
Safety
There is plenty of safety kit on the Scirocco R, with ABS, Hydraulic Brake Assist, electronic stability control, Traction Control, curtain, side driver’s and front passenger airbags and whiplash optimised head restraints all coming as standard. The Scirocco achieved a five star car rating in Euro NCAP tests.
