Pros & cons
PROS
Understated style, excellent choice of engines, comfortable
CONS
Rivals offer more boot space
Audi A4 Avant (05-08) rivals
Overview
It may look similar to the old model but this A4 Avant has some significant differences under the skin that make it more comfortable and better to drive. It retains the excellent build quality and refinement that has made the A4 such a success but adds a little extra polish to the formula. On the move it’s not quite as enjoyable as its big rival the BMW 3-Series and the Audi has a slightly smaller boot too – but that doesn’t prevent it from being a sophisticated and talented load lugger that comes with a huge range of excellent engines.
