Potential Porsche Panamera customers are going to be given more options with a number of performance and exterior styling packs on offer.

On the power front Panamera Turbo models are going to be offered with a new Powerkit that increases it from 500bhp up to 540bhp.

Despite this extra 40bhp, the 0-62mph is only 0.1 seconds quicker at 3.9 seconds and top speed is 2mph faster, up from 188mph to 190mph. It won't come cheap either. Available from September it will set buyers back £11,118 pushing the overall price of a V8 Turbo model to £108,476.

There's an optional Sport Design Package including a unique, body-coloured nose with wider air intake grilles, separate side skirts and standard body-colour rear underbody with diffuser and fins. This will be available form October and cost £2,516.

Also available from Porsche are a new set of 20-inch alloy wheels, due to their size these sit flush with the wheel arches. Available in silver, black or co-ordinated body colour they cost £2,247.

Any prospective V8 model buyers looking to give the Panamera some added agility can go for Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV Plus) along with Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) for a measly £3,130.

PTV Plus intervenes in the brakes on the inner rear wheel when cornering to give it a more direct and dynamic steering response when in a bend, according to the manufacturer which along with the rear axle differential also improves traction when accelerating from a bend.
