Kia is offering a new top-of-the-range trim level on the Cee’d and Cee’d SW as well as a number of offers across the rest of the model range.

Simply named as ‘4’ the new spec is available on the 1.6-litre diesel Cee’d hatchback and SW model. As well as the extra kit, it also adds more power to both models.

Opting for the ‘4’ model adds full leather interior, integrated sat nav, cruise control, rear parking sensors and colour reversing camera. On the outside buyers get 17-inch alloys, black bezel headlights and rear privacy glass.

Both models come with an extra 13bhp to bring the power up to 113bhp to 126bhp. This shaves off 0.5 seconds of the 0-62mph time for the hatchback bringing it down to 10.6 seconds. You’ll be pleased to know this makes no difference to emissions of 119g/km and you’ll still pay just £30 tax on the hatchback.

All this added kit comes in at £19,195 for the hatchback model and £20,345 for the SW. This added kit and performance will set you back £1,800 more than the respective ‘3’ models.

It must be a busy time for the South Korean manufacturer, as they’ve gone and announced a number of offers for the final three months of the year.

On the Cee’d front there is 0% VAT on offer for the hatchback and SW models, while current Picanto owners will get a £500 loyalty reward off the new Picanto. Rio owners will get between £600 and £750 off a new Rio.

The manufacturer is continuing its seven-year switch – its take on the scrappage scheme. This enables customers with a car between seven and ten years old, with less than 100,000 miles on the clock and valid MOT can trade in their car and get between £2,000 and £3,300 off a new Cee’d.

Finally there are cash savings on a number of other models. Buyers can get £500 off a Venga, £1,500 off a Sorento and £2,000 off the Carens
