Citroen has announced three new special editions of the C3 and C3 Picasso.

Based on the VTR+ trim level, the three ‘Connexion' models all get sat nav and Bluetooth connectivity as standard.

There are two C3 Connexions, one with a 1.4-litre 75bhp petrol engine and one with a 70bhp 1.4-litre diesel engine. They emit 139g/km and 112g/km CO2 respectively, while costing £13,790 and £14,890.

Both cars get 16-inch alloys, chrome detailing on the bodywork, tinted rear windows and specially designed cloth interior.

The C3 Picasso gets a 90bhp diesel engine and emits 119g/km CO2, and will go on sale for £15,895. This car gets a leather-trimmed steering wheel, automatic headlamps and automatic windscreen wipers.

All three cars will be available to buy in March this year.
