On show: Jeep Wrangler Polar special edition, new Jeep Cherokee

Jeep has unveiled a special edition model of the Wrangler in celebration of the car’s winter driving capability.
Aptly named the Wrangler ‘Polar’, the limited edition features a new front grille with black accents, 18-inch gloss black alloy wheels and ‘Polar White’ interior finishes. It also comes standard with the Trac-Lok anti-spin rear differential that works to maintain traction when travelling on slippery or rough road surfaces, such as sand, gravel, snow or ice.
Available in the first quarter of 2014, the special edition is powered by Jeep’s 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine and will be available in both two-door and four-door Wrangler body styles.
Standard equipment includes automatic climate control, heated front seats, cruise control and a multi-media infotainment and navigation system with a 6.5-inch touchscreen.
In addition to the new Hydro Blue colour displayed here at Frankfurt, the Wrangler Polar model is also available in Billet Silver Metallic and Bright White exterior colours.
