Should you buy a used Honda Jazz?

If you want a small car with a big heart (and an even bigger passenger compartment) then there are few more dependable choices than the Honda Jazz. These are really thoroughly engineered cars – you shouldn’t be frightened of a high-mileage example, provided it’s been well looked-after.

Even if your budget is at the lower end, you can be fairly confident that a Jazz will be more reliable than most equivalent superminis such as Ford Fiestas. It rivals the Nissan Micra and the Toyota Yaris for dependability – but eclipses them in terms of space and practicality.

Bought correctly, a Jazz will last for another decade with ease. In fact, many are on the market simply because they’ve outlived their owners.

Though it’s not very exciting to drive and smaller vehicles have lower running costs, few can compete with the Jazz as a complete package.
