The Parkers Verdict

The Hyundai i10 is a good value proposition in a market that's littered with charismatic rivals. But don't write off the i10 for being the cheap option – it's a far more capable car than many people expect it to be, based on the limited talents of its fridge-like predecessor.

It's good to drive, roomy, well-made, and comes with a great warranty. Yes, it's lacking the badge kudos of the Volkswagen Up! or the dynamic fizz of a Suzuki Swift – but as an all-rounder that works in the city, the i10 is hard to ignore.
