Is the Hyundai Kona N worth waiting for?

It certainly is if you're after a fast family car with a loud exhaust and excess attitude. Hyundai is pitching this as a sporty and fun alternative to a regular SUV. It has a target audience base - just look at the number of Range Rover Sports on the road.

If it can tame some of the unwanted wildness in the car, it might be a brilliant halfway house for hot-hatch-loving families. At the moment, it errs too much on the hot and not enough on the family. Pricing is yet to be announced and it should be in the UK for summer 2021.
