Audi A4 used review and buying guide (2008) interior

Audis from this era had a more driver-focused feel than in the past, with the centre console angled towards the driver. Fit and finish was impeccable – probably the best anywhere – and the longer cabin (compared with the previous model) with relatively narrow rear window pillars offers good visibility. The driver’s seat adjusts for height and the steering adjusts for height and reach so it’s easy to get a perfect driving position.

Overall the A4 interior feels more special than rival premium saloons of the time.

The saloon could accommodate five adults with plenty of knee and shoulder room in the back – a result of the long wheelbase. Audi A4 comfort levels were enhanced by the seats that are incredibly comfortable and supportive, especially the leather versions on top models. Electronic climate control is fitted as standard, with a three-zone system (this has individual front temperature adjustment plus separate adjustment for the rear compartment) available on SE models and above.
