When you climb aboard the first thing you’ll notice is the low-slung bucket seats. These indicate that this R8 GT Spyder is a proper sports car and not one for the faint-hearted. The interior is classy. Yes, it may look sporty but the plastics are still well crafted and soft to touch. The cabin is driver-focused and the driving position is just about perfect.

Both the seat and the steering have plenty of adjustment although the manual seat can be a bit of a faff to get just right.

The Audi R8 GT Spyder comfort levels are excellent and if you really wanted to, you could use it as your everyday mode of transport. If you did use it every day then you’d have a constant smile on your face. Even on long journeys the R8 GT Spyder is so easy to drive that you’ll still feel refreshed at the end of your trip. Road, tyre and wind noise with the hood up is minimal and the best bit is that sonorous V10 soundtrack coming from the rear of the car.

You never get tired of it.
