Alfa Romeo is introducing a limited edition of its Mito hatchback based on the the Turismo version but with extra kit... and extra cost.

The new Turismo Sport is available in three colours - black, white or a metallica red - and comes with either the 1.4-litre 16v 95bhp petrol at £12,895 or the 1.3-litre 95bhp turbodiesel at £14,410. It costs £450 more than the standard Turismo but has an additional £1,610 worth of extras.

Standard equipment on the Turismo includes air conditioning, electric heated mirrors, a CD player and Alfa's DNA system that electronically adjusts the sensitivity of the controls to suit the driving style. The Sport adds 16-inch alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, cruise control, Alfa's Blue&Me hands-free technology, front fog lights and a leather steering wheel with mounted audio and phone controls.

Buyers looking to purchase the car on finance can get the petrol model from £199 a month with a £1,000 deposit and a typical APR of 5.9% and the diesel at £219 a month, again with a £1,000 deposit, but with a lower APR of 5%.
