SEAT Leon: Leafing through the brochure

Plenty of choice

In a previous report, I've talked a little about some of the options that I've chosen for my Leon. But leafing through the brochure shows what's possible if you really want to personalise your car. As well as the options that you'd expect to see on the list, like a sunroof and extra airbags, there's heated seats, Xenon headlamps, reversing sensors, rain-sensitive wipers, and iPod connectivity. There's also the excellent touch-screen sat nav system that I have in my car.

However, the options that will add value when the car comes on the used market are the sat-nav system and leather seats. Although iPod connectivity, reversing sensors and extra airbags may make a car more desirable, few people will be willing to pay any extra for them.

There's a choice of 13 colours for the Leon and 10 for the FR. I personally prefer the bolder colours like white, red and yellow. For the very brave there's even a very striking orange. But if you prefer a more subtle look, the metallic greys and blues look great too.

If you're as taken with the Leon as I am, why don't you take the plunge and order a brochure of you own ...
