Alfa Romeo has revealed pricing for its new Giulietta hatchback model that goes on sale in the UK this summer.
The Ford Focus and Volkswagen Golf rival is priced from £16,995, while diesel versions start at £17,895. The five-door Focus is priced from £17,945 and the Golf from £15,435. All models except the range-topping Cloverleaf come with start-stop fuel saving technology as standard.
The five-door hatchback will be offered with three petrol engines in 120, 170 and 235bhp outputs, while user-choosers are catered for with two diesels in 1.6-litre 105bhp and 2.0-litre 170bhp guises.
Standard equipment across the range includes air conditioning, electric windows all round, LED front and rear lights and six airbags.
Three trim levels are being offered - Turismo, Lusso and Veloce.
