Congestion charge increased to £11.50 on June 16, 2014.

It was announced this week that the congestion charge in London won't apply to cars emitting under 100g/km CO2.

The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, said the new ‘Greener Vehicle Discount' will mean that after 4th January 2011 cars emitting 99g/km or less of CO2 and conforming to Euro 5 emissions standards will be eligable for a 100% discount on congestion charging.

This could mean a saving of up to £2,500 a year if you choose the right car.
