Peugeot has given its 3008 crossover an update, including a new eco engine and some extra interior kit.

A rival to the Nissan Qashqai and VW Golf Plus, Peugeot hopes the update will appeal to the more cash-conscious buyer.

Emissions have dropped to 129g/km CO2 if you choose the new HDi 112 engine with EGC gearbox, meaning you'll have to pay company car tax in the 18% band.

Standard kit has been improved with Sport models now getting USB input and Bluetooth, a passenger seat that folds flat and auto headlamps and wipers.

Additions to Exclusive models include Peugeot Connect USB and Bluetooth, flat-folding passenger seat, electro-chrome rear view mirror and exterior courtesy lights.

Prices start at £16,695 and are available to order now.
