The top 10 most reliable company cars have been revealed, and Audi takes the top spot.

In fact, in sister title Fleet News’ annual FN50 awards last night it was announced that the top three most reliable brands were German, with BMW in second place and Volkswagen placing third.

Further down the list Japan dominates, with Honda, Toyota and Nissan coming fourth, seventh and ninth respectively. Ford and Skoda came fifth and seventh, while Mercedes-Benz held eighth position for the second year running.

Vauxhall snuck into the top 10 for the first time this year.

The list of individual models was topped by the BMW 3 Series, which pipped the Audi A4 to the post. Volkswagen’s Golf rounded off the top three.

There were three BMW models in the top 10, while Audi and Volskwagen both had two models in there.

Conducted every year, the FN50 survey collects data from the 50 biggest leasing firms in the UK and processes the data to provide the results mentioned in this article.
