Dynamique SE Nav adds extra appeal to Renault Kadjar range

There’s now an additional model available in the Renault Kadjar range. Based on the existing Dynamique S model, this special edition sits in the middle of the range, between Dynamique S Nav and Signature Nav in the line-up.

There are two engines available: the 1.2-litre TCe petrol, producing 130hp and the 1.5-litre dCi diesel with 110hp. Both can be fitted with a six-speed manual or dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

How much does this Renault Kadjar cost in BIK tax?

P11D values were not available at the time of writing, but using the on-the-road price – which adds the car’s first registration fee and first year’s VED road tax onto the P11D value –  indicates identical BIK costs for both the petrol and diesel engine in manual gearbox form.

The diesel’s extra torque makes sense for a vehicle of this size – especially if you plan to tow or drive the car at full capacity – and the extra 23.7mpg over the petrol will make more sense for those covering a high level of miles, despite the higher cost of diesel.

What’s worth keeping an eye out for however is the leasing costs for each – if the petrol’s leasing rate are lower than the diesel, this could make more sense if you are a low mileage user.

What equipment does the Kadjar Dynamique SE Nav come with?

You can differentiate the Dynamique SE Nav from other models with the additional fitment of side steps, a panoramic roof, rear-view camera and auto-dimming rear-view mirror. This equates to a £475 saving if the options were added individually to Dynamique S Nav.

• 19-inch alloy wheels found on Dynamique S Nav models
• Front and rear parking sensors
• Part-leather seating
• Climate control
• Automatic headlights
• Tinted rear windows

The Renault Kadjar Dynamique SE Nav is available to order in April with deliveries available for May 2018.
