SEAT has announced details and pricing for its Ibiza ST estate range, which will include a super-low emission Ecomotive model.

On sale this month, the five-door estate model brings increased load space to the Ibiza supermini line up.

And for company car drivers a 92g/km of CO2 Ecomotive model will ensure lower benefit-in-kind tax bills as it qualifies for the 13% band.

Powered by a 1.2-litre TDI diesel engine, the £14,290 Ecomotive model returns claimed fuel economy of nearly 81mpg, while its low emissions level means it will be taxed at the lowest 13% diesel level for the next three years - monthly benefit-in-kind tax bills will be around £30. It is also exempt from the first year 'showroom tax' levy and annual road tax.

A range of petrol and diesel engines are also being offered, from a turbocharged 1.2-litre TSI petrol to a 105bhp 1.6 TDI diesel.

The ST model more than doubles the carrying capacity of the Ibiza five-door hatchback, with 430 litres of luggage space with the rear seats in place, rising to 1,164 litres with them folded down. The hatchback offers 292/554 litres respectively.

Standard equipment includes 60-/40 split-folding rear seats, roof rails, a flat load floor and low loading sill to increase practicality, while luxury features include air conditioning, MP3-compatible stereo and remote central locking.

Prices start at £12,070 - undercutting the Renault Clio Sport Tourer by £500.
