What does this car say about you?
That I am interested in cars. It must make a statement as I've driven such a big car since the age of 17. That I like my comforts.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They all love it, it's well known that she is called Audrey. If I haven't been chatting to a friend in a while, they almost always ask me how is Audrey doing. She's my my first love!
Would you buy this car again and why?
I don't want to ever replace this car with a newer version, I will probably buy another car to have alongside of Audrey. Something that isn't a 4-door saloon.
What are you likely to buy next?
A 2 door sports diesel. E-class coupe, Audi A5, Audi TT.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Local dealer who has a high turnover of ex-company cars. Was one the best priced A6s on Autotrader at the time.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Fair price, CVT transmission.
What was the dealer like?
Friendly, no fuss.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
I love driving it, it's quick off the mark, the revs stay to a minimum when not pushed as it is paired with the CVT gearbox. Steady at high drive and a real feeling of comfort inside the cabin.
What's it like to park?
It hasn't got parking sensors due to its age. I am so used to driving it that I could park it on a postage stamp. I find my housemate's 207 harder to park due to the short wheelbase.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Camshafts wore out at 175,000 miles. I went about restoring the car, rebuild the engine heads with new components and got the bodywork returned to its former glory.
What's most practical about your car?
The automatic/CVT gearbox. The ability to carry 5 passengers and all their belongings with ease.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Bose sound system. Sport spec features.
