Audi TT Coupe (1999 - 2006) 1.8 T (180ps) 2d Owner Review

I lusted after the tt since I first saw it but being a 2 seater it wasn't suitable. However a recent illness prompted me to buy one as a 2nd car. I still find it hard to believe that I own such a beautiful car and it makes me happy. Ok a lot of cars are faster, a lot of cars are now better equipped, but no other car is as good looking inside and outside. I had experienced the engine a few years ago in my seat leon cupra but the tt is more enjoyable. I paid less than £2000 and have just decided to keep it long term although I originally bought it with the intention of selling it on within 6 months. So far it has been 100%reliable and there are no oil marks on the drive. My wife and I have perfected the way of getting in and out in a smooth movement and once inside its comfortable and spacious. The back seats are unuseable but they do look nice and the boot is surprisingly spacious. To be honest I have no intention of testing its top speed or its roadholding abilities. My friends love it, my wife loves it, although she thought I was mad to buy it, but most of all I love it.
