Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes I think I got a good deal. The guy I bought it from was a young guy who was going traveling abroad and wanted rid of the car quickly.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I had a 316i coupe and wanted more power to go with the car

What's it like to drive?
Well as BMW's go most are a dream to drive and this is no different, comfort is the highlight of this car, I started in a 316i coupe and when i moved to the 318 it made all the difference, the power is well matched with the weight in the 318, while the 316 lacked to power to weight. Brakes are fantasic on this car, disks all round. After owning the car a while now i'm looking for more power, but it still has good poke in it for a 1.9. It can tend to go sideways from time to time in the wet but anyone owning a RWD will be used to that and prob love it!!!!
What's it like to park?
No probs parking at all, no bigger than most saloon cars

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
So far I've had some bother with the Power steering pump, I had a go at it myself just removed it, cleaned it out and replaced it with new fluid, going well since. Other than that not a bother, great car.
What's most practical about your car?
When driving a 318IS, it makes you feel really secure and comfortable to drive, the layout inside the car is just perfect, power, brakes, handling all very well balenced.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
I havn't fitted a single accessory to my car since buying it, which isn't like me but it's the M-Tech sport so it has the Kit, wheels, interior and to fit anything extra i think would spoil the car.
