The car was in reasonable condition and I got a very inclusive 90 day warranty with it.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Always liked BMWs and wanted a nice toy!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Quick, quiet, refined, comfortable.
What's it like to park?
No problem. Visibility good.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Auto 'box acted up but luckily was cured with a £50 fluid change. Passenger front window motor failed. Passenger heated seat does not work. Driver's door lock solenoid failed. ABS sensor failed. Driver's door window occasionally winds up and down erratically when door is opened.
What's most practical about your car?
Surprisingly big boot. That's about it.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Auto-dimming rear view mirror!
