BMW 5-Series Saloon (2003 - 2010) 525d SE 4d Auto Owner Review

I bought an m sport replica E60 5 series. The power from the 3.0d was outstanding, the amount of torque was sensational although it was slightly thirsty when you put your right foot down. My car did develop a problem (with it being high mileage), the gearbox pretty much blew up and it cost me over a thousand pounds to get it rebuilt. Make sure when you buy one that the gearbox oil/gaskets have been changed at the right service intervals as it could end up costing you an arm and a leg! The car was a fantastic motorway cruiser and could keep up with anything on the road. The seats were like armchairs, very comfortable, and the interior and features were brilliant. A must buy for anyone!
