Other Chrysler Crossfire (2003 - 2008) models:

  • Summary

    5 out of 5 5.0

What does this car say about you?

Style. This car has style and it has far better road presence that the Audi TT and Nissan 350. Far superior.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They think that it is stylish. It turns heads and so many times after I've parked-up, someone walking passed will ask questions about it. It generates a lot of nice interest among other car enthusiasts.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, without doubt. I often wish that they were still being produced in Europe, as I would seriously consider buying brand-new if available.

What are you likely to buy next?

Exactly the same, but perhaps, a late 2007 model, if I could find a really outstanding example?

  • Buying experience

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Independent

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    What price did you pay?

    £0

When did you buy the car?

    March 2010

Did you get a good deal and why?

    Yes, as stated before.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

This is an Owner's Update after 4 months of ownership. A follow-up Review to that posted on 24 Mar 2010.

    What was the dealer like?

    Friendly and helpful.

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

Absolutely superb; the car's poise, accleration, road-holding and balance are fantastic. This is genuinely not an exaggeration and I'm not going over the top, the car's pace is breath-taking!

    What's it like to park?

Not difficult. But when reversing out of a parking bay in-between other cars, there is a terrible blind-spot on both sides, but the nearside is worse. You cannot see anything until the nearside front passenger window passing the back of the parked car nearest the nearside. Which is dangerous, but I guess, all 2-door Coupes are the same?

  • Living with it

    5 out of 5 5.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

Thus far, touch-wood, nothing. It has just had a proper Chrysler Annual Service and the only problem additional to the service, was the re-gassing of the air-conditioning and batericidal cleansing.

What's most practical about your car?

Surprisingly for a Coupe, the boot can take quite a lot of gear. A recent long weekend in the car down to the South Coast and the boot coped with 2 large cases, 3/4 carrier bags, full, and other stuff pressed into whatever other gaps were left available.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Without doubt, the car's stereo. The Infinity system is awesome and recreates sound quality in my view, equal to a home stereo, that perhaps, would cost something in the region of £800+. Truly amazing!
