• Summary

What does this car say about you?

It is reasonably discreet but classy too.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

The family love it. Friends admire it. Neighbours seem to think it is smart but not too flash.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Absolutely. It avoids the excess of the Germans, but has all the equipment you could need, but not in your face, just there when required. It is more subtle than a Rolls/Bentley but still very upmarket - and far cheaper and simpler to maintain.

What are you likely to buy next?

A Fiat 500 for the complete contrast, though I would keep the Daimler.

    Very pleasant

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

Best to drive it sedately. It is a quick car but that is not the point. Best ooze along using the power with panache. Which is why the overpowered Super V8 is a step too far. Seats and ambience are wonderful on a long journey. Passengers do not want to get out at the end because it is such a pleasure to be in.

    What's it like to park?

Easy because of the parking sensors and good visibility of the corners.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

It failed to start once. I discovered this was because it does not like to be started and then turned off before getting a bit warm.

What's most practical about your car?

    Space for passengers

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

    Heated rear seats.
