What does this car say about you?

It's quite 'dynamic' especially in metallic blue. I find it quite stylish, sporty and youthful. Just like me less the sporty bit.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

My wife likes it a lot (mind me she as on old micra). Most people I meet tend to like it as well.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Well, definitely. If I had a bit more money, I would go for diesel version but this one just meets my needs and budget.

What are you likely to buy next?

Probably an estate as a second car. I am looking at a Volvo V50 1.6D.

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Independent

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    What price did you pay?

    £5,800

When did you buy the car?

    September 2007

Did you get a good deal and why?

It was the cheapest used Punto selling in Leeds, even cheaper than the Active range. I suppose that's because it had 19k on the clock.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

    Safety, looks and fuel economy.

    What was the dealer like?

Styrin Motors of Leeds are very courteous although I am still waiting for their 12 month warranty.

    What's it like to drive?

I think it's a great car for the price - considering you would have to dish out another 4-5k for a Golf. It's pretty quiet for the size, the smallest engine is nippy even on the motorway, and it has plenty of grip. I am also managing 48-49 mpg which is comparable to some diesels.

    What's it like to park?

I have yet to get used to parking a car without rubber bumpers! The city power steering makes everything much easier.

Have you had any problems with the car?

I have had no problems and it's been a wonderful drive since. I can confirm the other postings regarding the back doors being a stiff (but they loosen over time), squeaky brakes (I'll get them sorted one day), and scratching of CDs (on the standard radio on a bumpy road) .

What's most practical about your car?

The boot is a much better size compared to the previous Punto. The seats are also adjustable in three ways but I have yet to find the best setting for long trips!

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

I quite like the radio since it has good reception and good detail. The car sound insulation and quiet engine also tend to help. The ability to open the boot with a remote makes it also feeling quite expensive.
