Economy
Value
Cheap car, cheap parts. Easy to find at breakers' yards. but expect to pay out more.
Costs
It's a Ford, so everything is cheap.

On the road
Driving
Not bad response, but gearbox was terrible. Felt very loose. Horrible, really.
Performance
Perhaps a bigger engine would have been better for the car. Once again, awful gearbox.

Living with it
Reliability
Endless problems. Worst was when it decided to immobilise itself for no reason. Had to get auto electritian - £30 for 2mins work.
Image
Not a bad looking car, providing it has less rust than mine did.
Comfort
I am 6' 1" and fitted fine. Spacious car.

Security and Service
Security
Broken into twice. Door peeled away like it was made of paper. If you want it secure, put it in a garage.
Service
Ford were helpful, but I was on first name terms with the parts department and heard the phrase "common fault" far too often.
