Excellent performance and quality for the money.

Not bad. Service is so simple it costs very little to run, not bad on fuel either.

Driving
Fantastic fun to drive. Some might not like the lively high speed handling or easy oversteer. I think it just adds character and lots of fun.
Performance
For a 1.8, the performance is excellent. Will easily leave most 2-litre cars dead and will out-drag a 3-litre Jaguar S-Type up to 80mph. Will hit an indicated 130mph given a long straight and a bit of bottle.

Never a problem in 45,000 miles - can't be bad.

None at all. Always change the cam belt every 45,000 miles and the oil every 10,000 with a quality semi-synthetic - never use fully synthetic.
Other
Insurance too high for what it is. Buy a radar detector, this car will bring out the worst in you. Enjoy it!
