What does this car say about you?
Sensible exterior - but a bit of fire under the bonnet.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Astounded by its reliability and practicality.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Not this model - getting a bit old, but would definately buy another Ford Focus.
What are you likely to buy next?
Either Mazda MX5 as a toy or a Ford Focus (if the current one decides to join the great scrap heap in the sky).
Type of dealer you bought from?
Did you buy this car new?
What price did you pay?
When did you buy the car?
Did you get a good deal and why?
Fantastic deal trading in a 52 reg Ford Focus 1.8 TDCI Ghia and getting the "run-out" model.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
What was the dealer like?
What's it like to drive?
Great fun - wife calls it the pocket rocket. Handles well and the 1.8 TDCI 115 engine isn't bad. Picks up well from the traffic lights and cruises on the motorway at 70 (ish) with ease. Beginning to show it's age, but then it does have 150,000 miles on the clock.
What's it like to park?
Easy to park.
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The only thing that has failed (apart from everyday wear and tear items such as brake pads, exhaust) is the power steering pump - dies a couple of months ago with 140,000 miles on the clock.
What's most practical about your car?
Good for everyday run about, put the seats down and can take daughter with all her stuff to university.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Heated windscreen - best development ever.
