Ford Focus Hatchback (1998 - 2004) 1.8 TDi CL 5d (01) Owner Review

I have owned many cars over the years,but this car is without a doubt the best car I have ever or will ever own.It's much more comfortable to drive than most modern cars & a pleasure to drive on a long journey.I have just recently achieved 56 mpg when driving from Bristol,Avon to my in laws house in Angus,Scotland for Christmas.The 1.8 TDDI engine has lots of low down torque & if driven properly can deliver very good fuel returns.As with most older Ford's,these car tend to suffer with rust around the rear wheel arches & side seals.Other than this,the car is extremely reliable & in my opinion the best car & engine that Ford ever produced.I would highly recommend this car with this engine to anybody looking for a quality car.
