Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

Easy to drive as a daily driver with a very drivable chassis when on track. When pushed hard on country roads lots of feedback and great handling on 16 inch rims. 205/45/R16. Bigger wheels and it doesn't handle as well. Lift off oversteer a blast and very manageable with accelerator in the vtec zone. Transtop roof is brilliant, not the quickest but it is a crowd drawer when seen operating. Can be fickle and expensive too if you go to Honda, Honda haven't got a clue about the Transtop so stay away. Great groups online with loads of knowledge and contacts to sort any issues.

How reliable do you find the car?

Weak points are bushes and distributor and rear arch rust

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

I found an imported 92 SiR which an extra 10-20 bhp dependant on where you find the specs. 168-178bhp from a 1.6 naturally aspirated 1 tonne car has performance far beyond what you'd expect. Sluggish up to the 2000rpm mark then picks up, at 3k the smiling starts then 5400rpm vtec kicks in and your shoved back in to your seat. The power delivery is linear and very steep Click link or copy and past to see Dyno graph and you'll see just how quick this car is. Not massive bhp or torque but it's how quick the numbers climb that gives it mad acceleration up to over 8000rpm. Quicker than a lot of cars with more bhp and torque. https://www.automobile-catalog.com/performance/1992/1105940/honda_cr-x_del_sol_sir.html
