Jaguar XJ Saloon (2010 - 2019) 3.0d V6 Portfolio (8speed) 4d Auto Owner Review

Bought this car as loved the shape and kit it came with. Took me a couple of months to find the one I wanted and traveled 230 miles to get it from a Jag dealer. Broke down 15 miles from the dealer and had to be recovered. Had to get a courtesy car to go home and was delivered repaired 4 days later. So had it seven months and broke down another 4 times. Repaired under Jaguar warranty each time with one time being in for 3 weeks as no parts. Fortunately it had 2 year warranty. Now I may have been unlucky but could not keep the car after being fixed and breaking down again after 100 miles. The car itself in my opinion is one of the best looking luxury cars on the market . Shame the reliability was so poor. Just unlucky or is this the norm. Gone back to Mercedes as have had 2 cls and an e class over the last 6 years with no problems. What a shame.
