Summary
What does this car say about you?
This car makes you feel like a million dollars. I would decribe it as a supercar that you can easily use every day. It also strikes a fantastic balance between luxury driving and agressive sports car. It does this better then anything else Ive ever driven.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
This car stands out and people look at it. A couple of my neighbors made a point of coming over to chat to me about the car. People stop and watch you drive past. The car has an amazing road presence.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. For me its the perfect car. I like sports cars but I also like luxury motoring. I looked at 911 turbos and the like but they are 2 a penny. This car sits above those....it looks like an Aston Martin but its affordable and reliable.
What are you likely to buy next?
Jag are bringing out a 5 litre version of the XKR later this year with increased performance at the same economy. Ill probably take a look at one of those in a couple of years time. From 2008 on they took away the hiddious electric areial for the stereo which is the only thing I dont like on the car. Jag do a kit to resolve this problem on pre 2008 cars which I will explore in the coming months (no idea what they charge for this).

Yes, having searched for a car for some time this one came on the market and was the lowest priced XKR in the country at that time.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Stunning. I was worried about driving this car at first but its just as happy pottering through the village I live in as it is thundering down the road with its hair on fire.
What's it like to park?
Its a big car so I find myself looking for the perfect parking space. The view out of the back is fairly restricted. I wouldnt change it for the world though.

Only owned it for 2 days but not expecting any problems
What's most practical about your car?
You dont buy this car for practicallity you buy it to put a big smile on your face and it certainly does that!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The car is loaded with inventive technology...the stereo is very impressive.
