Jeep Compass SUV Night Eagle 1.4 MultiAir II 140hp 4x2 5d Owner Review

Night Eagle 1.4 MultiAir II 140hp 4x2 5d

Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

The jeep was picked due to the space in the rear and the rugged, hard wearing feel.
Firstly there is ample leg room in the back but this has been achieved by rear seats like a church pue on Sunday service. This also can be said for the front as any journey over a hour becomes tiresome.
The interior however is nice looking and has a quality feel but the screen freezes alot and the heater is either Santa's sleigh or the sun.

The 140 bhp 1.4 turbo lump is struggling all the time to accelerate with you constantly dancing tge valves to get any speed. 6th gear us useless unless doing 70 downhill.

Economy wise I'm sure it has a hole in the fuel tank as it struggles to get over 30 mpg but this is because your foots welded to the floor to go up hills. I'm sure the diesel would be a far better prospect.

Driving wise it's far nicer than a qashqai but not as nice as a van ect. It does however think your going to crash all the time on side roads with parked cars and throws out the anchor making you look like you have had some sort of a mental breakdown.

It has been super reliable just eating a battery this winter.

If you want one and enjoy sitting at church then buy a diesel one and you won't be disappointed.
