For anyone who has never driven the LS400 I will say one thing. The car grows on you the more you drive it and most people who have owned one go out and buy another, Enough said.

What are you likely to buy next?

If you've got the money then go for the latest model you can afford as this car has got better through the years with more toys than Toys'r'us. Also change little things on the car to update the looks like chrome handles, chrome grills and clear indictors etc.

    What's it like to drive?

Super quite on the roads with windows up, You just end up complaing of the tyre noise. Motorway crusier that gooes all day. Twisty roads it's not designed for and does produce a lot of bodyroll on the early models. Best tip is to buy some aftermarket sturt braces front and rear from Japan or Ebay(£120 each with P&P). Major improvment on Cornering/Handling. You don't ache like some cars after a long run on the motorway like some cars. if you're travelling over 150miles in a run, Then I would plum for this for a motorway cruiser.

    What's it like to park?

It's big, So supermarket car parks are a pain. The cars too long to fit on the space and you will stick out a bit. Reversing is a nightmare as you can't see below the high boot lid, You always park about a foot of so away from the object in the mirror. Would advise on some parking sensors on the early model to be fitted.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Needed a full service and had all the common faults,As not been done over the last six years. Changed all wear and tear parts. Best £500 invested to bring the car up to showroom condition and purrs with no missing etc. Shouldn't have to worry about the car for quite a few miles. Spend today and save tommorrow if planning to keep the car for some time.

What's most practical about your car?

Very easy to life with and after a good service should last you years without any problems. Starts every time summer or winter and travels the motorway with ease.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The seats, Can go in every position never mind what shape you are with loads of room. Stereo is a good loud system if all the speakers are working including the rear sub on parcel shelf.
