daughter and friends love the 7 seats friends think it must be really expensive
Would you buy this car again and why?
will keep this car for as long as I can afford to run it! Simply wonderfull driving experience so I don't care about the cost!
What are you likely to buy next?
Can't imagine parting with it! If I had to buy another it would be an older W124 if I could find one.

Did you get a good deal and why?
yes because the petrol and manual version is by far the cheapest but I wanted a manual, as far as I can tell its the only 2.6 V6 with a 6 speed manual box in the UK as it was a special order.(Manual option dropped after 2.4)
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
wanted load lugger for my pub rock band gear had a CLK200 company car and got hooked!
What was the dealer like?
friendly but as car was viewed at one branch and then taken to my local dealer it didn't get inspected!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
smooth ride especially when loaded up and handles much better than its size would suggest especially when full. 29 MPG for a 2.6 V6 is fine by me and great acceleration over 3000RPM. Cruises at 90mph all day fully loaded with gear love that late night drive back from gigs!

pretty good visibility so easy

Have you had any problems with the car?
Display failed two weeks before the first one year warrenty expired expensive (£600 plus £300 fitting) but done under warranty. since then 50,000 trouble free miles. Now done 100K. Eats anthing other than Michelin Primacy tyres. Bodywork warrenty worth its weight in gold as I have had rear corroded wheel arches, front wings and bonnet replaced under the warrenty in three years
What's most practical about your car?
7 seats massive space and its fast!
