In their own words
The 220D, 4matic, 174bhp Amg-line premium with loads of added extras is an absolute joy to drive. The 2.2ltr diesel engine sounds a bit lumpy and noisy when standing outside of the vehicle but when inside it's extremely quiet and the engine noise drops considerably during driving, it's no slouch either, for a reasonably big vehicle it reaches 0-62 in under 7.3 seconds despite reading times of 7.6 and 7.7 which is still very repectable for a family motor and it also boasts a top speed of 135mph, not sure who specified the top end but this one definitely exceeds that number by quite a few mph and the figures for fuel consumption seem to be quite varied, so as a no aggressive driver who likes to drive safely but with a little bit of oomph, this might be a more helpful, I'm receiving figures of between 47mpg and 62.6 mpg with a combined figure of 54.9 mpg.
The sports seats are incredibly comfortable and have many adjustments to get the perfect seating position along with the rake and reach steering wheel you have total flexibility.
This all wheel drive takes command of the most difficult road driving conditions from dry to snowy/icy roads, I haven't taken this vehicle off road as such but it did deal easily with deep muddy ground.
There is ample of leg and arm room back and front and the boot is more than sufficient in hight, width and length for all your passengers needs. We can fit x4 large cases along with smaller cases and rucksacks and there was still room for more.
Although this vehicle comes with 19" runflats it surprised me to find a factory fitted electric pump for the tyres stowed in the under compartment of the boot. Now that's piece of mind.
With it's stylish, sporty looks and large cabin and boot space this motor still manages to look classy and expensive even though the used price is reasonably affordable. There are too many good points to mention and as yet I am struggling to find faults but when/if I do, I will update it here.
