What does this car say about you?

Good all rounder, flexible in tight spots and fun to be with.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Most thought it would be small for me, I am six feet two inches, but there is stack of room... up front anyway, a perfect excuse about no real room in back for my grand kids ( seven of them).

Would you buy this car again and why?

I would buy MINI again. I would go for brand new next time (subject to price).

What are you likely to buy next?

If money was no option...Audi R8. But I would settle for a top of the range MINI convertible with all the bells and whistle...

Did you get a good deal and why?

Not 100% sure I got a good deal, but I was willing to pay the asking price to get the 1 year warranty and 3 year service pack.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I have always wanted a new BMW style MINI as I have owned old Minis before.

What was the dealer like?

They where great when buying but let me down constantly when reporting warranty defects, they kept looking for faults with warranty to raise cash. I have seen previous owner's paperwork and this seems true. Also I have been in contact with the previous owner and they confirmed every warranty repair they seemed to justify additional works outside warranty.

What's it like to drive?

Great car to drive as often mentioned. I have driven the MINI less than a year and it has handled all weather conditions safely. I feel safe and confident of the car's performance .

What's it like to park?

As easy to park as you would expect for any MINI... but this does not stop others who seem to park close to you thinking " that's plenty space for him to get out".

Have you had any problems with the car?

Had problems with stop start now resolved but still having problems with burning oil...but worst of all the warning light does not come on so i have to keep close eye on oil level. Dealer says they see no reason for this but offer £36 a time to top up?

What's most practical about your car?

A great car for city driving and even on a recent longer haul was comfortable and I had no problems with roads and various road conditions.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

As usual BMW put more gadgets than necessary to make you feel you are getting something special. The MINI is special enough without that....
