Economy
Value
Bought 5 months and 1500 miles old for £18k including leather interior. Excellent value, but would not buy brand new due to depreciation.
Costs
Reasonable costs considering V6. Often get 35mpg due to very little town driving.

Driving
Handling is great, but not perfect. Ride is very comfortable. Getting power to the road when pulling away quickly takes practice through manual gearbox in wet conditions.
Performance
With a 5 speed manual gearbox, accelaration is gusty and handling (less weight) are far better than on any of the auto boxes, including the tiptronic on newer models.

Living with it
Reliability
Phillips CD-Autochanger replaced under warranty. Brake disks skimmed to cure judder a couple of times, otherwise faultless.

Most people who get in it say "Wow this is posh." With proper marketing and slightly better handling, BMW/Audi would be running scared.
Comfort
Effortless all day cruising in arm chair comfort with a very effective climate control system.
