When did you buy the car?

    April 2003

Did you get a good deal and why?

The deal I got was not bad. The sales man mistakenly quoted the price for the 1.4 model instead of the 1.6. So I got the 1.6 model for the price of the 1.4.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

    What was the dealer like?

Quite friendly, until I'd paid for the car. After sales service was quite poor. Very dissinterested when any problems arose.

Have you had any problems with the car?

quite a few things have gone wrong. 2 days after purchase, with about 40 miles on the clock, the driver side headlight started flashing when indicating. I've had 4 ignition coils blow, which, according to RAC and AA is a very common problem on all newer Renaults. At 2 yrs old the seals around the windscreen started to disintegrate. At 2 & a half yrs old, the gearbox and drive shaft failed in a spectacular fashion. At 3 yrs old, front driver side break calliper seized against the disk.
