What does this car say about you?

    Didn't know any better!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

    Nice enough lorry.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Never. Too thirsty on expensive diesel and the things about the car that irritate me outweigh the good points.

What are you likely to buy next?

Looking to downsize and return to petrol. Possibly B-max or C3 Picasso.

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Franchised

Did you buy this car new?

    Yes

    What price did you pay?

    £0

When did you buy the car?

    January 2013

Did you get a good deal and why?

    Motability scheme.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Needed enough space to carry a wheelchair + luggage or shopping and have easy access for 2 (sometimes 3) disabled passengers. Needed an economic car and the published fuel consumption appeared ideal - expected to get 85-90% of published combined figure.

    What was the dealer like?

    Pleasant enough.

  • Driving it

    3 out of 5 3.0

    What's it like to drive?

Easy to drive. EDC auto gearbox is very smooth and power steering is light. Road holding is good and body roll in corners is reasonably controlled. Fuel consumption is absolutely rubbish - low 40's mpg average over a tankful with mixed driving. Have just moved to the Isle of Wight and am now struggling to get 35 mpg average with almost 28k on the clock. Hands-free phone is poor and as it's part of an "integrated" system you have to have the radio and sat-nav on as well.

    What's it like to park?

Not too many problems once you're familiar with the dimensions. If you use the mirrors for reversing into a space, they do give a distorted/inaccurate view.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

Never missed a beat whilst driving but electronic handbrake sometimes fails to release automatically if trying to reverse out of parking space.

What's most practical about your car?

Available space - plenty of room for 4 grandkids (1 in a car seat). Ease of access.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Built in Sat Nav and cruise control.
