What does this car say about you?

I was a mug and bought a piece of crap.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Most people think it is nice to look at, but they all know the problems I have had with it.

Would you buy this car again and why?

NO NEVER. I wouldn't even accept one as a competition prize! You don't expect a diesel engine to completely ruin at 54650K miles.

Nothing with a French connection!

I did at the time of purchase.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I liked the design. I thought Renault had a good reputation for their Diesel engines.

What was the dealer like?

My local Renault dealership are normally very professional.

What's it like to drive?

Although i now regard it as a piece of crap, it is a very nice drive.

What's it like to park?

I find it hard to judge its sticky out bum. But I don't complain because I like the look of the car.

Have you had any problems with the car?

YES, where do I start? The power steering went before 10K miles. I am always getting messages "check injection" - had this 3 times in the space of 13 months. The breaks squeak, even after new ones put on. And to top it all the Turbo blew and completely wrecked the engine at 54650 miles. The car was out of warranty at the time but luckily Renault paid the £4800 repair. Why did they do this, is it a known fault?
