No, The mpg is a good 10 miles under the claimed 62.8. And reading the forums it seems this figure is just something to aspire too.

Hyundai i40 estate or Mazda 6 estate.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Not bad, it had just been reduced by £400.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Cheap, economical, stylish estate, with room for DIY materials.

What was the dealer like?

Got a bit snappy, saying Parkers was not THE book price. What he meant was it wasn't THEIR book ,as it is available to the general public, and says what they should be paying for part exchanges.

What's it like to drive?

Doesn't exactly throw you back in your seat with acceleration, but for a 1.5 diesel it's competent enough with the 106 engine, the 86 must be under powered though.

What's it like to park?

Good turning circle with light steering, but the visibility is compromised by the designe.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing yet, although it did only have one of it's keycards and a replacement is £188 ......Woucher!

What's most practical about your car?

Load space.

Visor for sun.
